Faculty and teaching assistants may request access to art objects for teaching purposes. Class Visits can also be scheduled through the links below.

Artwork Access Requests

University Faculty & Teaching Assistants

Please make your request as you plan your syllabus, particularly for items in the collection that are not currently on view. The museum will make every effort to respond to requests in a timely manner. Making a request in advance helps the KAM staff accomodate your needs more easily.

Request Access to Artwork for Research or Teaching

Please keep in mind that art objects and resources are also available for loan through the Giertz Education Center on the lower level at KAM.

 

University Class Visits & Tours

We welcome faculty and teaching assistants to schedule a class visit or tour of the museum or an exhibition during regular hours of operation. Please make reservations in advance to ensure that your class or group has adequate space and time in the museum.

Reservation Timeline

  • If you would like a curator or museum educator to talk to your class or provide a gallery tour, please submit a request at least two weeks in advance.
  • If your class or group visit does not require museum personnel, please provide three working days notice.
