Student Engagement

Did you know that students can volunteer to assist with museum education programs at Krannert Art Museum? KAM's volunteer program is a great new way to get involved.

Become a Museum Education Volunteer

Student volunteers in this program will observe and assist KAM's teaching staff with school field trips, gather and prepare teaching materials, and may have the opportunity to teach alongside the education team in the galleries. In addition to monthly check-ins (with free food!), Museum Education Volunteers will have the opportunity to attend special events, like private curator-led tours and artist talks.

Student volunteers must agree to volunteering at least 12 hours per semester, typical volunteer shifts will be 2-3 hours.

To sign up, please fill out our Museum Education Volunteer Form. The next orientation meeting will be October 26 at 4:30 pm.
