On Sunday, the first documented case of COVID-19 was announced in Champaign County. To support social distancing practices, Krannert Art Museum will close to the public, effective immediately.

The Peabody and Kinkead entrances will be closed to the public on Monday morning. We regret the short notice, but this action is the most responsible one an arts institution and public engagement unit can take to protect our visitors and our team.
Krannert Art Museum’s dedication to research and engagement in the arts will continue for the moment through digital platforms, including on our website and social media.
Thank you for your dedication to KAM and its work, and we will look forward to when we can reopen our doors to the public. In the meantime, we urge everyone to continue to create, to learn, to grow, and to make and engage with art.
