KAM is located on the corner of Peabody Drive and Sixth Street on the campus of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Thursdays until 9 pm, when classes are in session
The museum is closed each year for the following holidays: Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Holiday (Thursday and Friday).
In addition, the museum closes during University of Illinois Reduced Service Days during winter break, typically Dec 22-23 through Jan 3-4.
Krannert Art Museum's exhibitions and events are always free to the public, thanks to the generosity of our donors. The Education Center is open by appointment only during the summer months, but its collection can be browsed through the SHARE integrated library system. This service allows teachers to find and to borrow KAM resources at any local library in Illinois. Search the Center collection and reserve items or complete the request form to have the staff select resources for you.
