The Krannert Art Museum Council is the museum's volunteer support group, comprised of local art enthusiasts who are committed to the museum and its mission. KAM's Gelvin Gardens are tended by a group of dedicated volunteers who meet weekly May–October to care for the museum gardens.
Gelvin Gardens volunteers are led by Landscape architecture professor Terry Harkness and Master Gardener Gloria Rainer. The group typically meets on Thursday mornings to do a variety of garden tasks, such as planting, weeding, mulching, watering, or trimming the many perennials and annuals in the garden.
Any KAM Council member is welcome to volunteer to help for one session or the whole season. For more information, please use our contact form and we will put you in touch with the Gelvin Gardeners: Contact KAM.
