The KAM Education team has put together a quick, fun video to introduce you to Krannert Art Museum. Hope you enjoy your visit.

Please enjoy your visit to Krannert Art Museum. To protect the works of art, we request that you follow the gallery guidelines below.

When individuals or groups visit the museum, it can be helpful to think about appropriate behavior in the galleries. Krannert Art Museum also has guidelines about items that are and are not permitted. Here's an overview:

Please Do: Maintain Safe Distance

Stand at a safe distance from paintings and pedestals. Please do not touch the art or the cases. The care you take helps to preserve the art on display.

Please Do: Secure Your Belongings

Please carry small bags and purses at your side. We have lockers for backpacks, umbrellas, and larger items.

Please Do: Enjoy Refreshments Elsewhere

There is no food or drink allowed in the galleries; please enjoy them in the café, lobby, or garden only.

Please Do: Study, Sketch, and Relax

Visitors may sketch and write in the galleries, using pencil and paper. Please respect other visitors to the galleries and take your time to enjoy the art.

Please Do: Remember Your Experience

Unless otherwise posted, you may take photos personal or educational use (no flash, please). Please respect the copyright of artists and designers whose work is on display.

The University of Illinois is a smoke-free campus. There is no smoking indoors or outdoors.

No firearms or weapons of any kind are permitted inside the museum or on the grounds.
