Join us for a talk by Eric J. Garcia titled "Drawing on Anger," presented as part of the School of Art + Design Visitors Series.

Eric J. Garcia is an interdisciplinary artist working in illustration, painting, sculpture and installation. His work has been exhibited in the US and abroad including San Francisco’s Museum of Modern Art, Jaime Sabines Cultural Center, Museum of Latin American Art, and the Museum of Contemporary Art Detroit.

Garcia has been an artist in residence at the National Museum of Mexican Art, John Michael Kohler Art Center, and Hyde Park Art Center. He has been featured in reviews and publications such as Chicago Magazine, Art Prize, Albuquerque Journal, and NewCity Art. He received his MFA in Painting at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and is currently living and working in Minneapolis.
