How you can support Krannert Art Museum educators during a virtual tour

Classroom Management

  • Be present with your class during the entire tour
  • Identify students who have their hands raised and communicate that to the museum educator
  • Help monitor the chat
  • Give the museum educator a cue when students are ready with something
  • Help students share their thoughts (eg: relaying what they said, holding up their work while they speak)

Materials

(paper, pencils, and other relevant materials identified in advance by the museum educator)

  • Have materials and supplies ready before the tour begins
  • Distribute supplies to students when the museum educator is giving instructions about the art-making segment, or before the tour begins
