Walk-ins are accepted. All patrons must sign in at the front desk in the Peabody Lobby when you arrive.

KAM is located at the corner of Sixth Street and Peabody Drive on campus at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.

Museum Hours

Tuesday–Saturday·10 am–4 pm
Thursdays until 8 pm, when classes are in session, starting Aug 26 for the Fall 2021 semester 
Sunday and Monday · Closed


Holiday Closures

The museum is closed each year for the following holidays: Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Voting Day, Thanksgiving Holiday (Thursday, Friday, and Saturday).

In addition, the museum closes during University of Illinois Reduced Service Days, typically Dec 23 through Jan 2.
