Due to a remodeling project, the Kinkead Pavilion is closed and will reopen in Fall 2025.
The remainder of the museum, accessed via Peabody Drive, including Art Since 1948, Encounters the Arts of Africa, and special exhibition spaces, will remain open to the public.

KAM is located at the corner of Sixth Street and Peabody Drive on campus at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
Hours
Tuesday–Friday 10 am–5 pm
Saturday 10 am–4 pm
Thursday until 8 pm when classes are in session
Holiday Closures
The museum is closed each year for the following holidays: Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Holiday (Thursday, Friday, and Saturday).
In addition, the museum closes during University of Illinois Reduced Service Days, typically Dec 23 through Jan 2.

Krannert Art Museum is always free and open to the public.
