Krannert Art Museum is located at the corner of Sixth Street and Peabody Drive on campus at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
Parking
Parking nearby is free on weekends and after 5 pm.
Public parking spots on campus are marked with an orange Block "I" or a parking meter with a Pay-to-Park sticker. You can pay using the MobileMeter app, the kiosk in Gelvin Garden, or the PayByPhone website. Coins are no longer accepted. Area signs include instructions and parking zone information. Parking fees are enforced Monday-Friday from 6 am–5 pm. Some spots on the street end at 6 pm.
Parking is available in the museum lot at the corner of Peabody Drive and Sixth Street (Lot E19).
Visitors with a valid state disability placard or plate will find designated spaces in Lot E19 and Lot E18 (north of the Art & Design Building, accessed via Fourth Street). Please see our Accessibility page for more information. Building access is easiest via the ramp on Peabody Drive.
Additional public parking is available in the parking garage at the corner of Pennsylvania Avenue and Fourth Street (Lot E15) and the parking lot at the corner of Peabody Drive and First Street (Lot E24). Additional street parking is available along Pennsylvania Avenue between Fourth and Sixth Streets.
