New campus traditions inspire new art for all!  Join the Illinois Kingfisher at the Krannert Art Museum for an exclusive school-spirit event where campus and community members can meet the creative team behind the University of Illinois's leading mascot candidate, the orange-&-blue, native-to-Champaign, Belted Kingfisher.

The mascot costume was inspired by the successful student and faculty votes, and subsequent local, state, and national-level endorsements from Native American rights organizations. This gathering, hosted by dedicated students, faculty, and alumni, is your chance to get photos with our beloved Bird and learn more about why being Naturally True to Orange-and-Blue is a great fit for UIUC!

Don't miss out on exclusive merchandise giveaways, including kingfisher shirts, art made by local artists, pins, bags, stickers, and more!

Kingfisher Crew members and artists will be answering any and all questions from attending community members and students!
