This was the first U.S. museum presentation of the work of emerging Swedish artist David  Svensson, who draws from the modernist aesthetic in joining the practices of art and design.

Exhibition sponsored in part by the International Artists Studio Program in Sweden and the Frances P. Rohlen Visiting Artists Fund/College of Fine and Applied Arts, with special thanks to Moderna Museet, Stockholm

Seven glowing sculptural works were exhibited in the Link Gallery between the museum and the School of Art + Design.  Following the exhibition on the U of I campus, the I space Gallery in Chicago exhibited a site-specific film work by Svensson for the I space windows.
