See what our friends from Booker T. Washington STEM Academy have been up to!

Booker T. Washington STEM Academy fourth grade students have spent a year engaging in a special partnership with Krannert Art Museum.

This fall, fourth-grade students and KAM educators met at school or the art museum every Fridays to create artwork, meet artists, and explore how art can be a powerful way to tell our own stories. They also spent an entire day of learning at the museum.

In the Making captures the process of experimentation, expression, and growth as students continue to build relationships with art.

Student Reflections

Exhibiting student artists have created a playlist of audio recordings where they share a little bit about themselves and their hopes for what visitors will take away from the exhibition.
