In the first retrospective of her work, the exhibition Millie Wilson: The Museum of Lesbian Dreams features media by the American artist ranging from photographic reproductions to paintings to installations. Curators David Evans Frantz and Amy L. Powell organized the works chronologically and thematically to encompass Wilson's examination of topics such as media representations of sexuality and gender roles, art history, museum practices, Freudian psychoanalysis of dreams, views of queerness as pathological, and the construction of identity.

The exhibition is on view in the East Gallery through March 1, 2025. Read more about the retrospective in an article from the News Bureau.
