Art History 115 introduces students to basic concepts necessary for understanding the visual arts by bringing them into contact with artwork from a variety of international contexts.
During the months of September and October 2017, students held classes in a variety of KAM galleries, including the Arts of Ancient Peru, the Ancient Mediterranean gallery, and Encounters: the Arts of Africa. In addition, students were able to tour World on the Horizon: Swahili Arts Across the Indian Ocean, the first major U.S. exhibition of art from the Swahili coast of Africa.
