Dr. David and Mrs. Nancy Morse, longtime members of the Krannert Art Museum Director's Circle, have ardently supported the University of Illinois is many ways. Their philanthropic interests spanned a variety of disciplines, including the arts.
In 2008, they established a bequest to support educational programming at Krannert Art Museum. When David passed away in the fall of 2019, the Nancy F. and David W. Morse Educational Programming Endowment Fund came to fruition. The Morse Endowment will support, in perpetuity, the KAM education team and all the meaningful and engaging programming they initiate.
Nancy, a docent and retired Parkland College associate professor, has experienced firsthand the impact that KAM's public engagement offerings have in the community. Together, as all of their philanthropic decisions were made, she and David chose KAM to be one of the recipients of their generous support.
We miss seeing David at KAM events, and we feel fortunate to have Nancy still volunteering and participating in everything she loves and appreciates about the museum.
We are forever grateful.
