Volunteer docent Ruta Rauber with a favorite American impressionist painting, Catatonk Pond by James P. Butler, in the Bow Gallery at KAM.
Resource

Ruta Rauber thinks about being a docent as being an "ambassador of the museum" and finds it fun to "show that we genuinely enjoy sharing the art with our visitors."

We are delighted to have her as a member of the Krannert Art Museum docent volunteers.

Would you like to volunteer? KAM starts a new docent class every two years or so. There may be one starting soon; it's a great way to show your love of art and connect the museum with the community in a meaningful way.
