Antena activates links between social justice work and artistic practice by exploring how critical views on language can help us to reimagine and rearticulate the worlds we inhabit. Antena has exhibited, published, performed, organized, advocated, translated, curated, interpreted, and/or instigated with numerous groups and institutions, including Blaffer Art Museum, the Hammer Museum, the LA Public Library and Project Row Houses.
Antena publishes bilingual chapbooks and pamphlets through their Libros Antena Books imprint, and collaborates with BOMB Magazine and Ugly Duckling Presse on the Señal Series of Latin American literature in translation. They received were 2016 SEED grantees of the Robert Rauschenberg Foundation.
Antena artists Jen Hofer and Gelare Khosgozaran participated in an artist residency at Krannert Art Museum in 2016 as part of the Borderland Collective: Northern Triangle exhibition.
