Organized and conceived by Kamila Glowacki, Art Remastered is a long-standing music performance series that has returned for its sixth iteration at Krannert Art Museum.

Partially supported by a grant from the Illinois Arts Council Agency.

Rather than only utilizing the museum space as a performance venue, Art Remastered taps into the strengths of local musicians as artists and storytellers and invites them to share their unique creative responses to the art on display. Matt Talbott is a singer, songwriter, and touring musician based in Champaign, IL. Accompanied by nylon string guitar and analog tape and digital loops, Matt explores in his songs the loss of and search for self through earthly and stellar landscapes. Matt’s performance will be augmented with Super 8 film footage collected during his travels as well as artworks selected by Matt from Krannert Art Museum’s collection.

Registration

The performance is sold out. Visitors are welcome to peruse the rest of the museum galleries.
