Bring your children for a creative morning of fun at Krannert Art Museum!

Krannert Art Museum acknowledges the support of the Illinois Arts Council.

Hands-on art activities for children ages 3+ and their caregivers! Throughout the galleries, enjoy arts activities, family tours, and demonstrations, celebrating the reinstallation of Fragmented Histories: Andean Art Before 1600. Kid visitors can complete a scavenger hunt for a prize! This event is free and open to all.

Activities include:

• Live Line Drawing Portraits with Sheila Parinas!
Get your portrait drawn live—line-style! Sit for artist Sheila Parinas and watch your picture come to life.

• Make Your Own Museum Postcard with Marc-Anthony Macon!
Make a postcard inspired by what you see—draw and write a message with artist, Marc-Anthony Macon!

• Wearable Art with the CU Community Fab Lab!
Make your own wearable art—design and press your very own button with the CU Community Fab Lab!

• Critter + Creature Station!
Create your own creature inspired by the museum’s art—real animals, mythical beings, or a mix of both.

• Viewfinder Drawing!
Pick one tiny detail in the gallery and sketch it inside your frame!

• Be an Allstar!
