Under the umbrella of the Long-Distance Love project, Long-Distance Love-Letters is an in-person program that invites engagement with art on view and letter-writing through the lens of distance, love, and longing.
No registration required
The program will include conversations around the artwork and text of Weight by Annette Lemieux, and participants will be given letter-writing prompts that they can respond to over tea and cookies in the KAM cafe.
To conclude this evening of love, longing, and letter-writing, the museum will post the letters written by participants.
This program will be led collaboratively by Ishita Dharap (Education Coordinator, KAM) and Sarah Travis (Assistant Professor and Program Chair of Art Education in the School of Art and Design).
The Long-Distance Love project strives to explore ways of staying connected across great distances.
