She is returning to campus to receive a 2026 FAA Distinguished Legacy Award.
Anida Yoeu Ali (BFA '96 Graphic Design) is an interdisciplinary artist whose works span performance, installation, new media, public encounters, and political agitation. She is currently exhibiting at the Vincent Price Art Museum in Los Angeles.

Oct 16 · Improvisers Exchange Workshop with Anida Yoeu Ali, on performance for non-dancers, Friday, Oct 16, from 3–5 pm, in the Orchestra Rehearsal Room, Level 2, at Krannert Center for the Performing Arts.
Oct 17 · Film screening and reception for Anida Yoeu Ali, who served as a producer of “If Hafez Wrote a Haiku for Cowboys” (dir. Masahiro Sugano, 2024, 115 min) at Spurlock Museum on Saturday, Oct 17, at 1 pm, with a post-screening reception at the Salaam MENA Cultural Center (700 S. Gregory St. Suite E, Urbana).
