Krannert Art Museum members are cordially invited to attend our premier fall celebration and meet our new Director Stephanie Smith.

You’ll be among the first to experience Centering Clay: Connection and Innovation in American Studio Ceramics, highlighting works from the museum’s collection.

Also on view: Memorias de la Mujer Lotina: Arpilleras, Women, and Coal in Chile (through Sep 5), Rest Lab 10: Path (through Oct 3), and Stitching Ecologies: Urbana-Champaign Satellite Crochet Coral Reef (through Oct 24), and collection galleries on both floors of the museum.

Enjoy refreshments and live music:
5:00 – Galleries open for viewing
5:45 – Doors open for reception in the Link Gallery
6:00 – Director and curator remarks in the Link Gallery
7:00 – Gallery viewing and reception continue until 7 pm

In addition to our members' night, join us the following evening for the public opening, Thursday, August 27, for Opening Night at the Museum from 5–7:30 pm, which includes music, refreshments, and a chance enjoy the first late night for fall, when the museum stays open until 8 pm.
