Graphically charged, lushly colored lithographic posters from World War I vividly depict the place of women in the war effort, the need for personal sacrifice on the home front, and the position of French colonial subjects.
This exhibition of French posters was drawn from University Archives holdings and accompanied by documentary photographs from the Rare Book Library.
