This area of Krannert Art Museum is set aside for temporary displays of art from the permanent collection.

Works of art are usually, but not exclusively selected by University of Illinois faculty for use in a specific class or classes.

Wall space in the Collections Study Area is allocated on a first come, first serve basis.

If you would like to request to place art in this space for your class to study and discuss, please make arrangements at least 3-4 weeks in advance by emailing your request to kam-collections@illinois.edu.

Requests can be for specific works of art (Explore the online collection for ideas) or categories of art that relate to your teaching. Krannert Art Museum staff will work with faculty and teaching assistants to make suggestions and work out timing for a class visit.
