European and American Art in the Trees Gallery, installation view at Krannert Art Museum, 2019.
Talk
Oct 24, 2019 - 5:30
Main Level, Bow Gallery

Due to illness, the planned focus of this month's talk has changed. Senior Curator Allyson Purpura will speak about Global African Art in Maureen Warren's place. Dr. Warren will present on European and American Art during the spring term.

Art Talk Thursday is a new programming series that brings you the opportunity to learn about art at Krannert Art Museum in a social, relaxed atmosphere. Every month during the academic year, a KAM staff member will give an accessible 30-minute presentation highlighting art in the museum’s collection or in one of our special exhibitions.

After the talk, you can continue the conversation while enjoying refreshments at a light reception, including a cash bar to liven up the mood. Annual members will be treated to a beverage of their choice on us—just bring your member card!
