Collection Gallery

Representing ancient Egypt, Iran, Greece, and Rome, the ancient Mediterranean gallery includes Egyptian artwork from the Old, Middle, and New Kingdoms; Luristan bronzes; and Roman sculpture and glass.

The Ancient Mediterranean collection is especially strong in ancient Greek pottery, with notable examples of Geometric style, Orientalizing style, black-figure technique, red-figure technique, and south Italian technique.
