Graduate Student Preparator

This position will assist in the preparation of general museum and gallery related tasks. The student will have carpentry skills and knowledge of gallery and/or museum protocols. The expectation for the position is 6–10 hours per week to assist with exhibitions. Duties and responsibilities include carpentry, painting, art handling and installation. Ability to work on ladders and scaffolding. ($15/hr) 

Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Bachelors of Fine Arts degree is preferred. Experience requirements: carpentry and art handling in a museum or gallery setting; valid driver's license; attention to detail; and proven ability to work independently.
